Dozer

I had to put my beautiful doggie to sleep two days ago. Old age and bad hips, I am missing him so much. He went peacefully and gently thank goodness.  I now have two beautiful boys in my yard ....

  1. I'm so sorry for your loss.
There is nothing I can say to help you feel better. Just know that I feel your pain as I, too have lost a best friend. My Black Lab, Duke.

  2. I'm so sorry Jana. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know some people think these are 'just dogs' but I know personally they are like our children and the loss can be unbearable. I hope you are doing better today and I'm sending you hugs and best wishes.

    Love,
    Angela

  4. Oh Jana,

I cried when I read this post. I am so sorry you have lost your best friend and your baby. Throughout this last year I have checked your blog often and kind of kept in touch with how dozer was doing. My thoughts and prayers are with you my sweet friend. Makes me so thankful each day BearBear is with me. I know I will be facing this soon and it is heart wrenching. Nothing I could ever say will take that pain away...but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers my dear friend. Love, Sandy Steele

  5. Oh Jana,

I read this post and cried. In this last year I have checked your blog often to hear how dozer dog was. My thoughts and prayers are with you my dear sweet friend. Nothing I can say can take the pain away and I know I face this decision soon with my BearBear. I think it is one of the most difficult decisions to make. They become our children and impact our lives so much. Thank God we are given these gifts from heaven even for such a short time. Love, Sandy Steele
